John founded Scofield Editorial in the early 1980s, and since then has been involved with thousands of television commercials, music videos, television programs, and corporate videos for a wide range of artists, ad agencies, and corporate clients. He helps bring stories to life with his editing skills and understands how artistic choices with even a few frames can make a big difference in the final result.

Ross Woods
Executive Producer / Managing Director
Working with clients like Budweiser, Gatorade, and MasterCard over the past 20 years in Chicago and Indianapolis, Ross now helps navigate the intricacies of ever-changing production workflow and budgets. Fun stuff! (It is for him.) A former editor and motion graphics artist, Ross has extensive experience at some of the leading graphics/animation/vfx companies in the country.
Fun Fact:
Ross used to park cars for Cubs games behind his apartment down the street from Wrigley Field, calling the operation “Easy-Out Eddie’s”.

Jason Cooper
Senior Producer / Account Supervisor
After eight years of experience in Los Angeles working on several feature films (some of which were actually good!), Jason moved back to his home state where he spent time marketing a local brewery before diving into the ad agency world. His love of stories and production brought him back to the world of producing, where he works tirelessly for his clients’ interests.
Fun Fact:
If Jason was forced to start a podcast on the spot, he’d easily be able to wax on for hours about Alt-Country music, The Wire, or college basketball. Go Boilers!

Kenny Gilbreath
Sr. Motion Graphics Artist / Colorist
Kenny joined Scofield after working in Los Angeles at Deutsch and McCann Erickson. Kenny’s creative aesthetic in motion design, animation, and color-grading give our client’s projects a one-of-a-kind look and feel.
Fun Fact:
Kenny is inspired by audio that makes him think of graphics and visual imagery. He spends his free time creating and producing electronic dance music.

Lindsay Mitchell
Director / DP / Editor
Lindsay has 15 years of experience in video production, with a focused skill set in camera work and editing.
Highlights of her career thus far include working on Discovery Channel’s Alaskan Bush People, 6 feature films, and hundreds of broadcast commercials and corporate videos.
Fun Fact:
She won the D.A.R.E. poster contest in 5th grade.

Bri Albrecht

Bri joined the Scofield team in early 2023 after a 6-month freelancing gig that let her use her video production degree, challenged her chops, and got her excited to learn from the best (not that we’re biased…). Hailing from the industry-leading training at Ball State University, she’s here to hone her craft of creating engaging videos with a clear message. In her words, “It’s the coolest thing when a vision comes to life and I can say, ‘I did that’.”

She likes to take her cat outside to let him roam around.

Rob Maldeney
Sr. Creative Video Editor & 3D Animator
Rob was the lone ranger video editor at Ferguson before our teams joined forces. He adds 30-plus years of diverse experience in video shooting and production, 3D animation, and product renderings to our team…and every once in a while, he still dabbles in web design and programming.
Fun Fact:
A self-proclaimed serial hobbyist, Rob spends his time restoring a 1970 Airstream trailer, making moonshine, knitting, forging knives, and learning to play the electric guitar and the banjo. He’s also a self-taught massage therapist…with only one client.
